OUR STORY
After moving to North Carolina five years ago and owning a successful shop on the west coast I decided to open a shop here in Statesville. Although my husband and I live in Mooresville, I chose Statesville because it has that small town feel that is difficult to find.
We've created a tropical relaxing atmosphere where shopping is an experience and not a chore. Each customer is greeted upon entering and many are quite surprised when told it's a consignment shop. We are very particular about our displays and merchandise. We offer honest fashion advise and a pleasant shopping experience.
All women are beautiful. Sometimes they just need a little help highlighting their best features. We always enjoy playing dress up, so just ask and we will help put an outfit together for any occation.
For me, consignment shopping has always been about the atmosphere and treasure hunt. The perfect item at a discount price. These days who doesn't need or want a bargain? Besides, consignment shopping is smart and offers an environmentally friendly way of updating your wardrobe.

HOW TO CONSIGN
CONSIGNMENTS ARE TAKEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Consignments are limited to approximately 20 items per appointment unless previously arranged.
Only current, contemporary seasonal items in excellent new or like new condition will be accepted. Chunky jewelry, trendy handbags and beautiful shoes are a hot item. All items accepted are usually less than two years old.
Items must be free of any wrinkles, stains, holes, odors, pet hair, lint or any type of damage. Please inspect all your items carefully prior to consigning. Make appropriate repairs to any missing buttons, hooks and sequins, broken zippers, loose hems, seams or holes, snags or pulls including odors and soil of any kind. Clothing must be brought in on hangers.
In keeping with the integrity of the store, we do not accept old clothing or items brought into the shop in plastic bags. We do not accept t-shirts, athletic wear, elastic waist, undergarments or wedding gowns.
All prices are determined and set by Traveling Pants Trading Company. The consignment period is a minimum of 90 days. When an item sells you receive 40% of the selling price with an additional 10% discount if used as store credit. Items not sold are returned to you or donated....It's your choice.
